Ronda WhiteExecutive Director
A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, White joined the United States Army
after high school and served four years as a communication specialist,
including a tour in Panama. In November of 1983 Ronda and her family moved to
northwest Oklahoma City
where she was active in her church's children's ministry, choir, praise team,
and drama team. In her 20 years living in Oklahoma City Ronda volunteered in
the Putnam City PTA, PCN Band Boosters, volunteered as a Boy Scout Cub and
Webelo Den Mother, tutored elementary students in reading, and was certified as
an Alzheimer volunteer facilitator.
She worked for the United States Postal Service for twelve and
a half years and then decided to branch out in her own business as a Mary Kay
beauty consultant. After losing her whole inventory to a house fire, she began
a career in retail management and worked as a licensed Realtor for three years
with Century 21. She moved to Shawnee
in 2003. She has two children: Terrell, who currently attends college in Maryland, and Summer, who attends Shawnee High School
and is on the Pom squad. White is has volunteer with the Pom Booster, Shawnee High
School Drama Team and Shawnee Little Theatre. Ronda and her family attend a local church in the Downtown Shawnee district.
She is a graduate of the 2007-2008 Leadership Shawnee Class and a member of the 2008 Sine
Nomine Choral Society.
